I read chapter 45 of the Tao te Ching:
“True perfection seems imperfect,
yet it is perfectly itself.”
“True fullness seems empty,
yet it is fully present.”
“True straightness seems crooked.
True wisdom seems foolish.
True art seems artless.”
We see Cáceres.
“The Master allows things to happen.
She shapes events as they come.
She steps out of the way
and lets the Tao speak for itself.”
Cácares has an amazing historical center — with medieval stone streets and ancient buildings.
The historical area is sometimes used for movie sets — for scenes set in the 1700s.
Some parts are not completely antique.
We reach the Plaza Mayor – Grand Plaza.
We are staying at the Hotel Iberia Plaza Mayor – a hotel unchanged for many decades — and as a result it is now a one star hotel (my kind of place!)
