In the doorway of the church

On the way to Aldergaria-a-Velda, it  rained very hard and we huddled in the doorway of a church. We ate our lunch there and I prayed that you, my reader, would meet the one who would love you more than all others (the one of your dreams) and know the peace that passes all understanding.

Then she passed by, smiled, and waved to indicate that my prayer would be answered. I did not expect her and her smile was so very beautiful!

Lao tsu writes (chapter 15):

“The ancient Masters were profound and subtle.

Their wisdom was unfathomomable.

There is no way to describe it.

All we can describe is their appearance.

They were careful as someone crossing an iced-over stream.

Alert as a warrier in enemy territory.

Courteous as a guest.

Fluid as melting ice,

Shapable as a block of wood,

Receptive as a valley,

Clear as a glass of water.

Do you have the patience to wait til you remain unmoving,

til the right action arises by itself?

The Master doesn’t seek fulfillment.

Not seeking, not expecting,

She is present and welcomes all things.”

What can I say? She indicates that everything will work out as planned. You will see.
